Look within. Amend yourself, rather than pry into the frailties of others. (Dialogue between Mahesh Raja and MD)

MD:
Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura says this but I do not understand :

21. Look within. Amend yourself, rather than pry into the frailties of others.
(The Pearls of Instruction)

Jesus Christ says similar. But how can I notice the bogus if I may not see the
deviations in spiritual life?

Mahesh:
Also - there is saying "Judge not others lest you be judged."
The idea behind it is for those who are toooooo much behind seeing the fault of
OTHERS that they do not see what their OWN faults are.

MD:
No. If I see the fault of others - bogus gurus, pretenders and so on - I will judge
them. I can not absolve them in spite of that soul actually does not act.
And generally people (like me) see their own faults less.

Mahesh:
Learning to discriminate between right and wrong is different from
fault finding for the sake of it:

SO WE HAVE TO EXPOSE THEM. THEY ARE NOT LEADER; THEY ARE JACKALS. SO JACKALS CANNOT ANYMORE RULE OVER. THAT SHOULD BE OUR PROPAGANDA. NOT ONLY SCIENTIFIC, ALL POLITICAL THINGS, SOCIAL THINGS, EVERYTHING.They should be all kicked out.”

SO WHEN YOU BECOME ACTUALLY PREACHER OF GOD CONSCIOUSNESS, YOU CANNOT MAKE ANY COMPROMISE. YOU MUST CALL THE SPADE A SPADE.”

Note: ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES THE TRUTH IS UNPALATABLE, ONE SHOULD NOT REFRAIN FROM SPEAKING IT.

THE TRUTH SHOULD BE SPOKEN IN A STRAIGHT AND FORWARD WAY, SO THAT OTHERS WILL UNDERSTAND ACTUALLY WHAT THE FACTS ARE. IF A MAN IS A THIEF AND IF PEOPLE ARE WARNED THAT HE IS A THIEF, THAT IS TRUTH. ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES THE TRUTH IS UNPALATABLE, ONE SHOULD NOT REFRAIN FROM SPEAKING IT. TRUTHFULNESS DEMANDS THAT THE FACTS BE PRESENTED AS THEY ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF OTHERS. THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF TRUTH.”

Ramacandra Puri Criticizes the Lord:

One day Ramacandra Puri came in the morning to the abode of Sri Caitanya
Mahaprabhu. Seeing many ants, he said something to criticize the Lord.

Last night there was sugar candy here," he said. "Therefore ants are wandering about. Alas, this renounced sannyasi is attached to such sense gratification!" After speaking in this way, he got up and left.

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu had heard rumors about Ramacandra Puri's blasphemy. Now He directly heard his fanciful accusations.

Ramacandra Puri could find no faults in the character of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, for He is situated in a transcendental position as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Ants are generally found everywhere, but when Ramacandra Puri saw ants crawling in the abode of the Lord, he took for granted that they must have been there because Caitanya Mahaprabhu had been eating sweetmeats. He thus discovered imaginary faults in the Lord and then left.

Ants generally crawl about here, there and everywhere, but Ramacandra Puri,
looking for imaginary faults, criticized Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu by alleging that
there had been sweetmeats in His room.

After hearing this criticism, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu was doubtful and
apprehensive. Therefore He called Govinda and instructed him as follows.

From today on it will be a rule that I shall accept only one-fourth of a pot of Lord Jagannatha's prasada and five gandas worth of vegetables.”
(Antya 8.48-8.49- 8.50- 8.50 Purport-5.51-8.52-8.53)

MD:
Yes, Ramacandra Puri is proper example- he criticized even his Spiritual Master
who was at the last stage of his life.

Thank you.
