Individually, but in reality, together


I apologize to all those who enjoy reading Srila Prabhupada’s teachings published here. There will be no further posts here, as I am following a different path. I cannot tell anyone which spiritual path they should follow, because our own thinking and inner feelings show us the right direction. We shouldn’t follow a path just because others say it’s the only way. There is never permanence; there is always change, and we must always evolve. Individually, but in reality, together.

Why is this human life in such a diseased condition?

Gargamuni: Why is this human form of life, why is this human life in such a diseased condition with war, pestilence, and famine? Prabhupāda:   These are miserable conditions inflicted by material nature just to remind the conditioned soul that this conditioned life in the material nature is not for you. There is another place, where you can live very peacefully. Just like in the prison life there is always infliction of miseries. If in the prison life one is comfortably situated, then he'll never go out, he'll try to live there. So these material inflictions of miseries reminds us that this place is not suitable for us. It is not our place. Our place is back to Godhead, back to home. Therefore these are the reminders that you must leave this place. (From Radio Interview -- March 12, 1968, San Francisco)

The last rope and opportunity for them in the Kali-yuga

  „Kali-yuga means the duration of age will reduce, the memory will reduce, the bodily strength will reduce, mercifulness will reduce. In this way everything will reduce. This is Kali-yuga.” (Lecture on CC Madhya-lila 8.128 -- Bhuvanesvara, January 24, 1977) „This age of Kali is not at all suitable for self-realization as was Satya-yuga, the golden age, or Tretā- or Dvāpara-yugas, the silver and copper ages.
